I can reccomend Natraj on station or the Kashmir on Welsh Row if you fancy an Indian Meal or the Sun Sing & Chop Stix (Chinese)  For a wider choice go for one of the English restaurants such as the Residence or Bon Amis on Hospital Street.

Pubs in The Town

If you want a pub meal that is good value for money go to the Boot & Shoe the Red Cow Pub is another option more expensive but the food is excellent. The Boot & Shoe is also excellent for kids as there is a bouncy castle at the back, both pubs are full of character.

Cafes

Aroma cafe bar is just on your left or if you prefer Costa coffee is just around the corner, both offer great coffees in pleasant surroundings. Austin’s delicatessen is located about half way down the street and not only is it a lovely & interesting delicatessen shop but you will also find hidden away at the back of the shop a real gem of a cafe which takes you back in time to the 1930’s with it’s yesteryear Grocers shop & is very popular with retired people.
