Austin’s Coffee Shop (AT Welch) – Nantwich Town

Austin’s is a delightful delecateseen shop at the lower end of Hospital Street on the Left hand side, it is very long and narrow shop which is full of old fashioned charm here you can buy some unusual treats such as meats, chutneys and cheeses that you may not find in the supermarkets. The suprises don’t stop there however because hidden at the bottom of the shop is a hidden gem of a coffee & Tea shop that is popular with the more mature adults.
This place is really full of character & you can spend your time reminiscing as the yesteryear Grocers shop in the cafe helps to take you back in time to a place where things were cheaper, you can have a lovely cup of tea in a cup not a mug and there is a great choice of cakes and snacks.
In total there area four differant teas, twelve coffees, and soft drinks to choose from & cakes, gateauxss, pavlovas or fruit pies etc
This Cafe is well suited to the elderly although children do find the shop etc very interesting as it is a bit differant from the norm, however I do not think that it is a good choice for the disabled as the shop is narrow and the toilets a bit arkward for someone in a wheelchair.
There are no free newspapers or magazines.
Go Back In Time and Have a Great Coffee!
