Location

The Crown Hotel is in a great location, right in the center of Nantwich town & close to all the shops, bars & resturants with a small parking area to the back of the hotel – make sure you get a card from reception to place in your car or you will get a ticket. It is also a good base for Chester, The Potteries and many other attractions.

Description

This 16th-century coaching inn is very traditional and is a bit out of the ordinary with is uneven floors which can make it seem that you have had more to drink than you actually have! and it’s beamed walls and ceilings which date back to the 16th century,  However the facilities are not from the 16th-century & it does have modern facilities with a nice italian resturant that also turns into a cinema on Sunday nights!

The Crown Hotel has retained many of its charming original features & has a cosy bar area with a log fire where you can sit & relax while you read the daily newspapers with a Latte before deciding where to head for the day!

It is a good choice for a wedding or party as it has a large room upstairs that has lots of charm with several small bars & is perfect for this type of occassion. However the room is very popular and I would advise that you to book well in advance to avoid dissapointment.

On sundays the Hotel run a Movie Night where you can have a drink & watch a movies for a set price (please see things to do section of this website for more ideas on how to entertain yourself when staying in Nantwich)

Please be aware that the Crown Hotel does not have a lift & beacuse of the narrow corridors and uneven floors we feel that it would be unsuitable for disabled people.
