5 miles from the M6 taking A500 to Nantwich, at the 1st roundabout turn right. Straight on next roundabout. At traffic lights turn left into beam Street, on the right opposite the library is The Red Cow. A Grade I listed 15th century traditional beamed pub.
There is a real fire and the pub is listed in the good pub food guide, and the Good Pub Guide. Recommended by the Manchester Evening News and the Sunday Observer. The non en suite accommodation provided is in a 17th century cottage adjoining the pub.
